Who else but....John Galliano
This is the epitome of what I absolutely love. It's theatrical, powerful, operatic, make belief, and captivating all rolled up into one. It's almost not fair =( he got to it before I did. He is older, but still. Ok, fine...fine I will have to state one day when I'm very famous that he was one of my favorite influences and who knows by then he might say the same about me. Don't ever stop dreaming and taking steps daily. All dreams are at the mercy of our minds...
John Galliano!!!! I'm so glad I found you!
These people, the costume, the makeup, the clothes, the props, the stage setup, the themes are literally STARIGHT OUT OF MY FANTASIES!!!! I cannot believe it! I pray to God I get to work with him one day and have him design my costumes for my movie. I love love love his work! He is fucking incredible! This is the world I want to create and play in every single day as a filmmaker.

Operas and Production design
"Faust"
"Madame Butterfly" in Technicolor
It's such a sad story. I want to cut Pinkerton's balls off!
It is also one of the top 10 operas performed in the United States. I feel like filmmakers and production designers have a lot to learn from operas. The reason being that the overall visual element of the productions are magnificent and play an integral role in captivating the attention of the audience and making the story believable.

Le Reve!
There are not enough words to describe this masterpiece! The production design, the performance, the tricks, the story and the energy will blow you away...no doubt! One of the greatest shows playing at The Wynn in Vegas right now! I was left speechless!!!! Some parts of the show seemed like a Michelangelo painting from the Sistine Chapel was coming undone from the ceiling and coming to life...completely surreal and so artistically powerful! The production was created by Franco Dragone who also did O, Mystere, La Nouba including other Vegas shows.

Edna's Coffee...my addiction for over a decade...since I was 12 hehe!
Armenian coffee.
There is something quite mysterious in the experience of having a cup. First, you are instantly wired and then you get the sudden urge to share your thoughts with someone you love or even strangers or become extremely giving of your creative energy and warm feelings about humanity and anything you are inspired by in that moment. Every time I drink it, I either want to call all the people I've been avoiding or work on something creative. It just makes me want to "do" because I become very present in that moment! It is a tool I use when I need to create.
How to make it: one teaspoon and a half for every Armenian coffee cup (which are tiny like espresso cups), one cup equivalent of water, stir and wait for the coffee to rise before taking it off the stove...and voi la! You can add one teaspoon of sugar while it's on the stove or drink it with a piece of chocolate or pastry. Then you turn over your cup with the coffee sediment left at the bottom of the cup. Make sure that when you turn over you cup, that you turn it in the direction facing your heart. As the sediments trickle down, they form shapes and images which can help tell your fortune.
I don't know if it works or not, but I had this one incredible experience after I had finish reading "The Power of Now" by Eckhart Tolle. What I found was the above picture in my coffee cup. I see the image as me (to the left) praying with both hands and Eckhart Tolle (on the right) with his hand on my back probably telling me that it's going to be ok. I'm not religious, but spiritual and that book has really helped me more than anything else I have read or come across in regards to how to experience this life and what to make of it and how to pursue one's passions and dreams. So, obviously, you can imagine how shocked I was to see this image in my cup.
Ora's Art
Sinking My Teeth Into The Dada Movement
The Dada movement was a revolt against oppressive governments and a rejection of WWI. The people's sentiments where expressed through antiart. It was a time of liberation through defiance of what was the prevalent standard in the art world and its replacement was a natural explosion of creativity that pushed the art boundaries and introduced many different art forms, one of which was "performance art." This cultural movement took place in 1916 in Zurich initially at Cabaret Voltaire and then spread to the rest of Europe and lasted until 1923. There coincidentally was also a lesser violent movement of the same nature and of the same name in New York. The dada movement influenced what is now known as avant-garde, Surrealism, pop art, punk rock, etc! I'm so grateful of artists like Hugo Ball and many others who started this movement out of the need and passion to create beyond the limiting boundaries that their culture and societies had set. Artist are meant to be free to create out of their minds and souls instead of being a mere mechanism in a factory constructed by the limitations of societal standards.

Love that tight butt! Somebody should make a movie out of this.
"Vicky Christina Barcelona" By Woody Allen
This film touches on a very sensitive topic which shines a light on some of the questions and concerns many of us face, if we are honest enough with ourselves, in regards to why we form certain relationships, why we stay in them and whether a monogamous relationship is truly right for everyone. Also, it highlights how some are willing to settle in relationships that are void of passion because of their inability to explore themselves deeper and find a relationship that is so fulfilling in every aspect.

Heath Ledger wins the Oscar!
Heath Ledger not only gave an outstanding performance as "Joker" in "The Dark Night," but also gave a new meaning to being willing to die for what you love. Heath has won the battle each of us struggle with as an artist...to commit fully to our art and not let our fears hold us back from pursuing our dreams even if we should have to suffer after we have won.
Delicatessen 1991...One of my favorite movies!!!
